    Nissan Magnite facelift: what's new

The updates to the Magnite are expected to be quite minimal. Spy shots indicate that the Magnite facelift will get a reworked front bumper and grille. It could also get reprofiled headlamps with new LED daytime running lamp signatures. A new diamond-cut alloy wheel design has also been teased by the brand.

While the interior has not been previewed yet, sources tell us that tweaks will be limited to new trim pieces; the overall dashboard will remain largely unchanged. There could also be addition of some new features.

Nissan Magnite facelift to be mechanically the same

The existing 1.0-litre petrol engines will be carried forward unchanged: the 72hp, 96Nm naturally aspirated unit and the 100hp, 160Nm turbo version. The 5-speed manual and AMT, and the CVT gearboxes will be carried over as is.

Upon launch, the Nissan Magnite facelift will continue to be one of the most affordable compact SUVs in India, along with its French counterpart, the Renault Kiger. Key rivals include the Maruti Fronx and Tata Punch at the lower end and the Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon at the higher-end of the segment.
