Maruti Suzuki Subscribe now available in Pune and Hyderabad

The Maruti Suzuki Subscribe leasing programme is now available in four cities. The pilot project, which had begun in Gurugram and Bengaluru at the start of July, has expanded to Pune and Hyderabad.

    • Maruti Suzuki Subscribe now available in a total of four cities
    • Maruti Suzuki has partnered with Myles to offer the leasing service
    • New, shorter-term rentals also on offer

As we had reported when the Maruti Suzuki Subscribe service had been launched, the pilot programme targets individual buyers who would like to lease a Maruti car, rather than buy one. This is unlike the brand’s other leasing services, which are geared towards corporate clients.

What’s different about Maruti Suzuki Subscribe in Pune and Hyderabad?

While the post-sales operations are being handled by Orix in Gurugram and Bengaluru, Maruti Suzuki has tied-up with Myles for the Pune and Hyderabad roll-outs.

The procedure is the same in all four cities, but there are even shorter tenures on offer this time round. Along with 24-, 36- and 48-month lease tenures, you can also opt for 12-month and 18-month options.

Maruti Suzuki claims that customers in Pune can get a Swift LXi for an all-inclusive monthly subscription starting at Rs 17,600 – customers in Hyderabad can do the same for Rs 18,350. As before, there’s no down-payment required and there’s a buyback option available as well. With demand for personal mobility on the rise, personal car leasing services are meant to offer a more affordable alternative to buying a new or even a used car outright. Maruti Suzuki has joined the likes of Toyota, Volkswagen, Skoda, Hyundai and Jeep, among others, to offer car leasing schemes for individual buyers.
