As shown in the table, the waiting period for the top-spec XUV700 AX7 and AX7 L variants has risen to a little over 2 months, up from about 1.5 months recently. Meanwhile, buyers will have to wait approximately 1 month for the delivery of all other variants, including the entry-level MX and the mid-spec AX3, AX5, and AX5 Select variants. These wait times apply to both petrol and diesel versions of the SUV.

It should be noted that XUV700 variants equipped with ESP and those in the 6-seater configuration do not have a specified waiting period. For exact details on these specific trims and information regarding the delivery times for manual and automatic gearbox options, do contact your local dealership.

Both the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 2.2-litre diesel engine have 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options. However, only the diesel variant comes with an AWD option.

The Mahindra XUV700 is currently priced between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 25.14 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It directly rivals the Tata HarrierSafariMG Hector, Hector Plus, and the Hyundai Alcazar.
