Mahindra Scorpio N: price announcement, booking and delivery details

The prices of the Scorpio N were announced in two phases – first for the manual variants on June 27 and later for the automatic, 4X4 and 6-seater variants on July 21. The SUV was launched at an introductory price of Rs 11.99 lakh for the base petrol-manual variant, going up to Rs 21.65 lakh for the top-end diesel automatic with a 6-seat layout.

Mahindra has adopted a complex, multi-stage booking process with the ‘Add to Cart’ feature where buyer can select the variant and colour of the Scorpio N, as well as the desired dealership. From today till August 15, Mahindra will open a “Variant Amendment Window” for customers to change their opted variant or colour before locking their final choice. Test drives for the Scorpio N have already begun.

The deliveries for the Scorpio N will start from September 26 and Mahindra says that it has planned to deliver over 20,000 units of the SUV by December 2022, with the Z8L trim being a priority. The carmaker says that it will inform buyers about the delivery date of their SUVs by end-August.

Only the first 25,000 bookings will be able to get their Scorpio N at introductory prices and subsequent buyers will get their SUVs at the prices prevalent at the time of the SUV’s delivery. Mahindra will continue to accept bookings for the Scorpio N online and at dealerships.
