Kia Carens Clavis EV range, battery and charging specs
490km max range, fast charging support of up to 100kW.

The Kia Clavis EV is available with two battery pack options: a 42kWh unit with a range of 404km and a larger 51.4kWh battery offering 490km, both ARAI rated. The standard range (SR) battery powers a 135hp motor, while the long range (LR) pack gets a more powerful 171hp unit. Both e-motors are mounted on the front axle, and Kia claims the Clavis EV LR does the 0-100kph sprint in 8.4 seconds.
Charging speeds and times.
Kia offers 7.4kW and 11kW AC charger options; the latter charges the 42kWh battery in 4 hours and the 51.4kWh pack in 4 hours 45 minutes (both 10-100 percent). With a DC fast charger, Kia claims the SR and LR batteries can be juiced up in just 39 minutes from 10-80 percent.
Kia Carens Clavis EV features and seating capacity
Twin 12.3-inch screens, panoramic sunroof, seat ventilation, Level 2 ADAS.

To justify the premium positioning, Kia has equipped the Carens Clavis EV with all-LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, twin 12.3-inch screens (touchscreen and driver’s display), wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker Bose sound system and a panoramic sunroof. There's also ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, one-touch electric tumble for the second row seat (kerb-side), Boss mode and V2L charging support. Unlike the combustion Carens Clavis with 6- (captain's chairs in the middle row) and 7-seat options, the electric version is offered only in the latter configuration.

Safety kit includes Level 2 ADAS, 6 airbags, ESC, ABS, a 360-degree camera setup, hill-start assist, TPMS and all-wheel disc brakes. It should be noted that variant-wise Clavis EV features will differ.
