Honda is readying an India launch of its refreshed Jazz premium hatchback, which is expected to take place in the latter half of this month. The updated Jazz was first unveiled almost a year ago and made its public debut at the 2017 Frankfurt motor show.

With this update, Honda will focus more on feature additions rather than styling tweaks. The car will get more equipment like a better touchscreen infotainment system among others.

The car will not get any mechanical updates, which means the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine options will continue, as is. The Jazz will take on the recently refreshed Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Baleno in the Indian market. Unlike the Amaze, Honda will not offer a diesel-CVT variant on the Jazz hatchback.
