BMW is sending off the Z4 convertible with the Final Edition. Over the standard Z4, the Final Edition gets an exclusive paint job, along with Final Edition detailing on the inside. BMW has confirmed that there won’t be an immediate successor for the Z4.

Gets a matte black paint option and contrast red stitching for the interior

BMW Z4 Final Edition marks the end of the convertible’s production

The BMW Z4 Final Edition retains the looks of the standard Z4, but it gets an exclusive ‘Frozen Matt Black’ finish paint option, M Sport brake calipers in a gloss-red paint and Final Edition-branded scuff plates on the door sills.

Like the exterior, the interior is carried over from the standard Z4 but comes with contrast red stitching across the trims, M Sport seats with either leather or Alcantara upholstery and the M steering wheel finished in Alcantara with the same red stitching.

For global markets, the BMW Z4 is available with three turbo-petrol engine options. The sDrive20i variant is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 197hp and 320Nm of torque. The sDrive30i has the same engine as the 20i but produces 258hp and 400Nm of torque. The top-of-the-line M40i packs a 3.0-litre in-line 6-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 340hp and 500Nm of torque.

While all engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, the M40i also offers a 6-speed manual transmission.

BMW has not revealed whether the Final Edition will be available for the Indian market. The Z4 is currently sold here in the M40i trim, with ex-showroom prices starting from Rs 87.9 lakh. The Pure Impulse edition costs Rs 92.6 lakh and is available with a manual transmission.
