  • Benefits on Mahindra SUVs range from Rs 13,000 to Rs 3.05 lakh in July 2020
  • Benefits available on Alturas G4, Scorpio, XUV500, XUV300, KUV100 NXT and Bolero

Mahindra is offering some big discounts and benefits on its line-up of SUVs in the month of July to help push sales. With dealerships now having resumed operations, the carmaker is offering benefits ranging up to Rs 3.05 lakh on its models, though actual benefits vary based on the model and variant selected. Read on to know how much you could save on your new Mahindra SUV.

Mahindra Alturas G4

Benefits of up to Rs 3.05 lakh
Mahindra’s big, 7-seat flagship SUV is plush, well-equipped and priced below its main rivals - the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. For July, the SUV is available with benefits of up to Rs 3.05 lakh, including a cash discount of Rs 2.4 lakh and a further Rs 50,000 off as an exchange bonus. When prices for the BS6 Mahindra Alturas G4 had been announced, it was only the four-wheel drive variant that could be booked. Now, buyers can also book the more affordable two-wheel drive version.

Mahindra XUV300

Benefits of up to Rs 65,000
Mahindra’s monocoque-bodied sub-four metre SUV was one of its first model’s to comply with BS6 norms when the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol version was upgraded late last year. The XUV300 makes for a compelling package, with a strong 1.5-litre diesel engine and plenty of equipment on offer across variants; higher variants are pricey though. while a 6-speed manual is standard on both engines, the diesel unit gets a 6-speed AMT gearbox option too. XUV300 diesel models are available with benefits of up to Rs 42,500, including an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. Petrol models attract higher benefits, with benefits up to Rs 65,000, depending on the variant.

Mahindra KUV100 NXT

Benefits of up to Rs 62,000
Mahindra’s entry-level model stands out from the crowd thanks to its unique 6-seater configuration. Now available solely with a BS6-compliant petrol engine, the KUV can be had with a cash discount of up to Rs 33,000. Buyers looking to trade in their old vehicle are also being offered an additional Rs 20,000 off as an exchange bonus.

Mahindra XUV500

Benefits of up to Rs 39,000
With the new model due next year, the current XUV500 soldiers on in the BS6 era, but with a rejigged variant line-up. The SUV is now only available with Mahindra’s 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and a manual gearbox - versions with the automatic transmission and all-wheel drive have been dropped from the line-up. The diesel engine offers strong performance and while the 7-seat layout does add practicality, the third row is quite cramped. Buyers can avail of benefits of up to Rs 39,000 on the SUV.

Mahindra Scorpio

Benefits of up to Rs 30,000
As with the XUV500, the Scorpio line-up has also been trimmed with the move to BS6-compliance. The old 2.5-litre diesel is no longer available and the 2.2-litre diesel is now available in a single state of tune and there’s no four-wheel drive option either. The diesel engine is strong and refined and the SUV does feel built to last, though it’s not the most ergonomically sound models. Buyers can avail benefits of up to Rs 30,000 on the Scorpio. An all-new model is also expected to arrive next year.

Mahindra Bolero

Benefits of up to Rs 13,500
Mahindra’s longest serving model lives on with a BS6-compliant engine and upgrades to meet crash compliance. Now only available only in sub-four-metre form, the Bolero comes with the torquey 1.5-litre mHawk75 diesel engine. It is a hardy SUV capable of hauling up to seven individuals. The BS6 Bolero is available with benefits of up to Rs 13,500 this month.
