In comparison to the standard Q8, the SQ8 produces an additional 167hp and 270Nm of torque. On the outside, the SQ8 looks like other Q8's but differentiates itself through 'S' badging on the tailgate. It also gets wider air dams at the front, with certain elements of the exterior detailed in either black or satin silver. Alloy wheel sizes could likely range from 21 inches to 23 inches.

The cabin of the SQ8 will be similar to other Q8 models. There’s Alcantara and leather upholstery along with 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment and instrument cluster, the latter of which gets ‘S’-specific graphics. The equipment list could include a panoramic sunroof, head-up display, and powered front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions.

The SQ8’s price is expected to be somewhere between the standard Q8 and the RSQ8. Its price could likely be around the Rs 1.5 crore mark, considering the Q8’s price of Rs 1.13 crore, and the RSQ8’s price being Rs 2.33 crore. It will take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLE 53 AMG Coupe and Porsche Cayenne GTS.
