2018 Hyundai Santro price, variants explained

Launched at Rs 3.89 lakh, the new Santro gets some segment-first features and is priced competitively.

Prices for the long-awaited new Hyundai Santro have been announced. The tall-boy hatchback will retail in five trims – D-Lite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta – and is priced between Rs 3.89 lakh and Rs 5.45 lakh. All variants are powered by the same 1.1-litre, four-cylinder engine that makes 69hp when running on petrol and 59hp when fuelled by CNG. While the petrol-powered motor comes with 5-speed manual and 5-spoeed AMT options, the CNG unit is paired to a 5-speed manual only.

In order to keep costs in check, only the mid-spec trims get the CNG and AMT options. To better understand what you get with each trim, here’s the complete variant break-up:
