Most car dealers roll out a monsoon scheme in order to boost sales in the run-up to the festive season. Tata dealerships across the country have been authorised to offer a new 3+3+3 scheme that includes a free three-year warranty, three years/40,000km Service Maintenance Package and three years of roadside assistance with almost every new Tata car sold. In addition, many dealerships are offering cash discounts, exchange bonuses and other benefits with a large selection of models including the Hexa, Nexon, Tigor, Tiago, Zest and Bolt.

Tata Bolt

Save up to Rs 80,000
The Tata Bolt has been on sale for about four years now and while it is still a solid and competent hatchback that boasts of a roomy cabin area and good ride quality, it doesn’t stand up to much newer competition especially in terms of features. Available with a 90hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 75hp, 1.3-litre turbo-petrol (both with a 5-speed manual gearbox), the Bolt is now offered with overall benefits to the tune of Rs 80,000 including a cash discount.

Tata Zest

Save up to Rs 80,000
The Bolt’s compact sedan counterpart – the Tata Zest – comes with an identical Rs 80,000 discount overall. The 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol and the 75hp, 1.3-litre diesel engines are shared between the Bolt and the Zest, though the latter also gets the option of a 90hp, 1.3-litre diesel motor and an AMT option for this diesel. One of the safest mass market cars on sale today (as rated by Global NCAP), the Zest is a value for money product that comes with a comfortable cabin.

Tata Hexa

Save up to Rs 70,000
Like a number of other models, the Tata Hexa now comes with the brand’s 3+3+3 scheme that provides total benefits of about Rs 30,000. Additionally, haggle well and you could avail cash discounts, corporate discounts and an exchange bonus worth Rs 40,000. For now, the Hexa is Tata’s flagship model – it comes in six-seat and seven-seat configurations and is known for its ride quality and highway manners and comfort. The base Hexa XE gets a 2.2-litre diesel engine (making 150hp and 320Nm of torque) that is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, while all other variants have the same motor in a higher 156hp/400Nm state of tune and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The higher trims also get the option of a 6-speed torque-convertor automatic and all-wheel drive.

Tata Nexon

Save up to Rs 55,000
The Tata Nexon is another model that gets the 3+3+3 scheme, along with an exchange bonus and cash discounts. Buyers of the rival to the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300 and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza can now get larger discounts with the diesel engine model (110hp, 1.5-litre mated to either a 6-speed manual or AMT), though benefits on the petrol engine models (110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol with 6-speed manual and AMT options) are nearly as high.

Tata Tigor

Save up to Rs 55,000
Tata’s compact-sedan rival to the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford Aspire and Hyundai Xcent is available with the 3+3+3 scheme and additional benefits that amount to Rs 55,000. Like the Nexon, the Tata Tigor petrol – which comes with an 85hp, 1.2-litre motor as well as manual and AMT gearbox options – has lesser benefits than the equivalent diesel model (powered by a 70hp, 1.05-litre engine). As the diesel engine will be discontinued by April 1, 2020 (before BS6 emission norms come into effect), Tata dealers hope to sell off remaining inventory as soon as possible, which explains the larger discounts on offer with this version of the Tigor.

Tata Tiago

Save up to Rs 55,000
Available with the same engine options as its compact-sedan counterpart, the Tata Tiago can now be had with benefits that total Rs 55,000, which includes the 3+3+3 scheme, a cash discount (on diesel models) and an exchange bonus (for the petrol and diesel models). However, dealers are refraining from offering any major benefits on the top-spec Tiago XZ+ variant and the go-faster Tiago JTP.
