  2. Prices for Select Pro petrol up by up to Rs 25,000 over Smart
  3. New mid-spec trims get more features

MG Hector Shine Pro: what’s new?

The new second-from-base Shine Pro trim essentially replaces the Shine trim that was available previously, but it adds more equipment. These include LED Daytime Running Lamps, LED projector headlights, sequential LED turn indicators, front and rear fog lights, 17-inch alloys, a 14-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a single-pane sunroof, wireless charger, push-button start, a 6-speaker sound system and cruise control.

Notably, prices for Shine Pro petrol variants are more affordable by up to Rs 44,000 than the outgoing Shine petrol, while the Shine Pro diesel is more expensive by Rs 20,000 than the Shine diesel.

Over and above what’s available with the Shine Pro, the Select Pro adds larger 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, interior LED reading lights, connected car features and an 8-speaker sound system with woofer and amplifier.

Prices for the Select Pro petrol variants are higher by up to Rs 25,000 over the outgoing Smart petrol, while the diesel variant is more expensive by Rs 20,000.
