Hyundai Motor India has advanced the market launch and price announcement of the second-gen Creta by a day. The company will introduce the new SUV to Indian customers on March 16, 2020, instead of March 17 as announced earlier.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus scare, the Korean firm will invite media in small batches at the launch venue to have a look at the SUV in order to keep large crowds away. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has spread far and wide across the globe, with more cases being reported everyday throughout India as well.

Coming back to the new Creta, Hyundai’s second-generation of the blockbuster SUV has already gathered more than 10,000 bookings. The new SUV will be sold in multiple variants and engine-gearbox options. Bookings for the new 2020 Hyundai Creta had begun on March 2, and the SUV has reached quite a few dealerships already. Test-drives for the new Creta are expected to begin in the coming days.
