Hero MotoCorp Mavrick 440
The Mavrick 440 is Hero’s flagship premium motorcycle and its largest-displacement bike yet. It is built on the same 440cc platform as the Harley-Davidson X440. Unlike the cruiser-style Harley X440, the Hero Mavrick 440 has a naked roadster stance with an upright riding position. It uses smaller 17-inch wheels at both ends, which makes it feel easier to move through tight city traffic.
The Hero Mavrick 440 is designed as a more affordable, street-focused alternative to the Harley, with a simpler suspension setup and slightly more compact dimensions. It feels most comfortable cruising between 90-100kph, and also gets useful features like a digital LCD console with turn-by-turn navigation, smartphone connectivity, and full LED lighting.
Currently, the motorcycle is available in 3 variants: Base, Mid, and Top, and depending on the variant chosen, its price varies. The Mavrick 440 price starts at ₹2.13 lakh and goes up to ₹2.40 lakh. Meanwhile, the Mavrick 440 on road price in major Indian cities like Delhi, Pune, Chennai, and Mumbai, ranges between ₹2.43 lakh and ₹3.00 lakh.

Yes. The Mavrick 440 has an 803mm seat height, and the seat area is quite slim where it meets the tank. Hence, the bike feels much easier to manage for most short riders who find tall adventure bikes or bulky cruisers difficult to handle.
If you enjoy riding above 130kph, the Mavrick 440 may not feel very comfortable at those speeds. It feels best at 100-110kph speeds, and past that vibrations become noticeable and can start feeling slightly unsettled.
The Hero Mavrick top speed is around 150kph.
Yes. The Mavrick 440 feels like a proper step up from a 200cc bike without becoming too expensive or intimidating. It costs less than rivals like the Harley-Davidson X440 and Triumph Speed 400. Plus, Hero MotoCorp’s wide service network gives you better peace of mind and relatively lower maintenance costs compared to many other 400cc motorcycles.
The bike is happiest between 100-110 kph (4,000 rpm range in 6th gear), where it feels unstrained and refined.
