TVS Raider 125 sales performance

Domestic sales account for 16.2 lakh units, with exports contributing 2.86 lakh units

From its launch through March 2026, the Raider 125 has recorded domestic sales of 16.2 lakh units, along with 2.86 lakh units in export markets. In India, it accounts for 31 percent of TVS Motor Company’s cumulative motorcycle sales of 52.7 lakh units during this period.

For context, the TVS Apache series – which spans multiple models – sold 20.7 lakh units in the same timeframe, representing a 38 percent share.

The Raider 125 saw its strongest performance in FY2024, with sales doubling to 4.78 lakh units from 2.39 lakh units in FY2023. It also emerged as TVS’ best-selling motorcycle that year, outselling the Apache range by over one lakh units.

However, FY2025 saw a 16 percent dip in demand, with sales falling to 3.99 lakh units. The motorcycle bounced back in FY2026, posting a 7 percent year-on-year growth to reach 4.27 lakh units.

In FY2026, the overall 110-125cc segment remained largely flat, with total sales of 36.16 lakh units. The Raider, with 4.27 lakh units, held a 12 percent segment share, making it the third best-selling model behind the Honda Shine (17.1 lakh units, 47 percent share) and the Bajaj Pulsar (7.75 lakh units, 21 percent share).

On the export front, FY2026 marked the Raider’s best year yet, with 76,900 units shipped overseas – an 8 percent increase year-on-year – accounting for 6 percent of TVS’ total motorcycle exports.
