TVS has launched yet another variant in its ever-growing iQube line-up, and this one has a battery capacity of 3.1kWh and is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). With this new variant, the iQube family now comprises six variants.

  1. TVS iQube 3.1 has 123km IDC range, 82kph top speed
  2. Has a 32-litre boot and uses a colour TFT display with refreshed UI/UX
  3. First iQube variant to get hill-hold function

TVS iQube 3.1 range, charging time and price details

Has the same features as the iQube 3.5, except for the slightly higher top speed

The iQube 3.1 – as the name suggests – is powered by a 3.1kWh battery pack, which has a claimed IDC range of 123km. It uses the same Bosch-sourced hub-mounted motor as the rest of the iQube line-up, but interestingly, just like the range-topping ST 5.1 model, it has a claimed top speed of 82kph. At 116.8kg, it also weighs less than every other iQube variant, except for the base 2.2 model.

Just like the iQube 3.5, this 3.1 variant's 0-80 percent SOC charging time is 4hr30min. This is a big step up from the iQube 2.2 (2hr45min). The rest of the mechanicals and features stay the same. This means you get the spacious 32-litre boot, colour TFT display, front disc brake, pillion backrest and dual-tone colour options on the new 3.1, just like the other iQube models. This 3.1 variant is the first of the iQube models to get hill-hold functionailty and a refreshed UI/UX for the TFT display - both of which are steps in the right direction.

The iQube 3.1 can be had in five colours – white, brown, grey, copper/beige and blue/beige. At Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru, inclusive of PM e-Drive subsidy), the iQube 3.1 neatly fills in the void between the base 2.2 (Rs 1.01 lakh) and the 3.5 (Rs 1.23 lakh), and it comes shortly after the iQube’s arch rival, the Bajaj Chetak, gained a new variant
