TVS appoints Sudarshan Venu as its new managing director

The TVS Motor Company has appointed Sudarshan Venu as the new managing director, effective today. Venu has been charting the future of TVS Motor and has played a big role in the company's growth not only in India but also in overseas markets.

Speaking about his appointment as the MD of the company, Sudarshan Venu said, “With the continued guidance of my father and Sir Ralf, and the support of the Board and team, I look forward to further embracing the future of mobility. This is an interesting time for the industry globally, and I am passionate about being at the forefront of this.”

TVS’ chairman emeritus, Venu Srinivasan, stated that Sudarshan Venu has led the company in making some key acquisitions and in expansion of group companies. He added that the company is confident of Sudarshan’s leadership, which will help TVS transform into a leading mobility company on a global scale.
