TVS Motor Company and Jio-bp have partnered to set up electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country. These EV charging stations will be built at the Jio-BP fuel bunk network that is growing fast. At present, Jio-bp, the joint venture between Reliance Industries and British energy company BP, is operating its EV charging and swapping stations under the brand Jio-bp pulse.

Under this new partnership, TVS’ electric vehicle customers will get access to the Jio-bp charging network in India. In addition to this, owners of EVs by other brands will also be able to use the facility. The partnership aims at creating a regular AC charging network and a DC fast-charging network.

TVS, at present, sells the iQube electric scooter in the market.  TVS has been quite bullish about the EV sector in the country. Recently, the company said that it will invest and launch a range of products to show its commitment to electrification.
