Triumph’s first single-cylinder model to debut a colour TFT display was the recently launched Bonneville T40, and the company seems to be trickling that feature down rather quickly to its platform siblings. The latest model to get this feature upgrade is the Tracker 400, which was recently spotted with a TFT dash and updated switchgear.

  1. TFT dash seen; cruise control and riding modes could be present
  2. Adjustable levers, which are currently not available, were also spotted
  3. Currently, Tracker 400 costs Rs 2.43 lakh

All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Could this be the 2027 update Triumph has planned for the Tracker?

Appears to be more tech-laden but is mechanically identical

Up until very recently, the Bajaj-made single-cylinder Triumph bikes had a basic electronics feature set comprising dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control. The Bonneville T40 was the first one to augment that with riding modes and cruise control, and now it seems the Tracker 400 is following suit. The Bonneville’s TFT dash is visible, as is the updated LH switch cluster, which would also suggest the inclusion of cruise control.

Another small but valuable feature seen on this Tracker 400 test mule is adjustable levers, which are currently not offered on the bike. So far, only the Thruxton and Tracker have been spotted with the TFT dash and updated switchgear, and it remains to be seen whether these features will be extended to the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400. It bears mentioning that the Thruxton and Tracker use the single-cylinder engine in its more aggressive state of tune, making 42hp internationally and 40hp in India from the downsized 349cc version.

Other than the TFT dash and adjustable levers, the Tracker 400 seen in these images appears unchanged. If the bike does get updated with these features, you can expect an increase in its price, which is Rs 2.43 lakh currently. It also remains to be seen whether these features can be retrofitted to the existing Thruxton and Tracker bikes that have been sold.

Yes, fresh models is just what's needed.
Only if sales and service expands alongside.
Won't be enough. Established brands are too strong.
