Royal Enfield recently launched its new Thunderbird replacement, the Meteor 350. However, what makes the Meteor launch an even bigger deal is that it debuts the company’s new 350cc engine and chassis platform.

  • The price ranges from Rs 1.76-1.90 lakh.

  • The Fireball is most reminiscent of the old Thunderbird 350 X.

  • All three variants feature the Tripper Navigation system

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball variant (Rs 1.76 lakh)

The most basic one, the Fireball, is priced at Rs 1.76 lakh. It’s available in only two single-tone colour options – yellow and red. Interestingly, it’s only the fuel tank on this variant that wears your colour of choice, with the front and rear fenders, as well as the storage boxes, finished in gloss black. This blacked-out treatment can also be found in many other areas on this variant, including the exhaust and the fuel-injection system covers. It’s also the only variant that gets rim tape and makes do with a sticker decal instead of a 3D badge on the tank. The Fireball variant is most reminiscent of the old Thunderbird 350 X.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Stellar variant (Rs 1.81 lakh)

The Stellar sits above the Fireball and is available in three single-tone colour options – dark red,  dark blue and matte black. Unlike the Fireball, the colours on these variants are seen on all of the body panels. Those of you that like some bling will be happy to know that the Stellar features chrome finish on the exhaust system, handlebar and covers to the side. It also gets a 3D Royal Enfield badge on the tank and a pillion backrest. All of this can be had for Rs 5,000 more than the Fireball.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Supernova variant (Rs 1.90 lakh)

Coming to the top-spec Supernova you see in the video footage, it cost Rs 14,000 more than the Fireball, at Rs 1.90 lakh. It’s available in two dual-tone colour schemes – brown and black, and light blue and black. This variant also gets all the features seen on the Stellar and, additionally, also features a machined finish on the wheels. It also gets a different seat cover, chrome indicators and a big windscreen that works quite well.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Tripper Navigation

What is really nice is that all three variants, including the standard Fireball, get Royal Enfield’s new Tripper navigation system. It uses Google Maps data and works using the Royal Enfield app, and we found it useful. It doesn’t give you any call or SMS notifications because Royal Enfield says it wants this to be a distraction-free experience. If you decide not to use the Tripper Navigation, this display will simply show you the time.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 accessories

Royal Enfield also has a huge list of accessories available for the Meteor. This includes eight different road-legal exhausts and engine guard designs. There are also six seats, multiple seat covers and two different windscreen options. RE says there are up to five lakh custom configurations possible. To know more, head to the company’s app or the ‘Make It Yours’ section their website.
