Cosmetic changes along with Hypershift detailing

The Classic 650 Hypershift edition is mechanically identical to the production-spec Classic 650. What sets it apart is the bespoke colour scheme, which transforms between shades of red, green and gold as light moves across the motorcycle. Complementing this is a ‘125 years’ crest on the tank and side boxes, along with the hand-painted pinstripes.

Powering the Hypershift edition is the 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine making 47hp and 52.3Nm, similar to the Interceptor 650. It uses a chassis derived from the Super Meteor 650. While the Super Meteor features a USD fork, the Classic 650 has a right-side-up unit.

The Hypershift (Rs 4.26 lakh) special edition costs approximately Rs 58,000 more than the base Vallam Red (Rs 3.68 lakh) variant and Rs 43,500 more than the top-spec Black Chrome (Rs 3.82 lakh) version. Deliveries of all 125 units allocated for India will begin this month.

All prices are ex-showroom, Chennai.

Yes, fresh models is just what's needed.
Only if sales and service expands alongside.
Won't be enough. Established brands are too strong.
