Honda CB300F launched at Rs 1.7 lakh

Honda has launched the CB300F at Rs 1.7 lakh, and, as before, it's available across its exclusive BigWing dealerships throughout the country. The CB300F is now more affordable by Rs 56,000 and Rs 59,000 for the Deluxe and Deluxe Pro variants, respectively. Honda had previously given heavy discounts on the CB300F and brought its price down to Rs 1.79 lakh.

Honda CB300F performance and specifications

Powering the CB300F is a 24hp, 25.6Nm, 293cc oil-cooled SOHC engine that's mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch. In our road test, we found that the CB300F was capable of a 0-100kph time of 7.94 seconds, with a respectable fuel efficiency figure of around 35.3kpl. The CB300F features a 14.1-litre fuel tank.

Standard safety features include a traction control system and dual-channel ABS with front and rear disc brakes. The 300F also features USD telescopic front forks with 5-step adjustable rear mono shocks.

Honda CB300F features

The CB300F gets a fully digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps, tail-lights and turn indicators, and a Bluetooth-enabled system for smartphone connectivity. There's also a USB-C charging port close to the handlebar and hazard light function. Honda has launched the CB300F with three colours: Sports Red, Mat Axis Grey Metallic and Mat Marvel Blue.

Honda CB300F rivals

With an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.7 lakh, the CB300F comfortably sits in the 250-300cc segment, and its main competitors include the Suzuki Gixxer 250, the KTM Duke 250 and the Bajaj Dominar 250. It's also important to note that with this new price, the CB300F is also around Rs 12,000 cheaper than the Yamaha R15 V4.
