Harley-Davidson has increased the prices for its X440 S and T variants. The top T variant has received a hike of Rs 2,000, while the middle S variant costs Rs 1,000 more. It’s worth mentioning that prices for all the X440 variants were hiked in June, whereas this time, the hike is only for the top two variants.
- Prices up by Rs 2,000 for the T and Rs 1,000 for the S variants
- The price of the Base Vivid variant remains unchanged
No mechanical or feature changes
T remains the only variant with ride-by-wire tech
Other than the price increase, the X440 remains unchanged, retaining its 440cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with 27hp and 38Nm of torque. Harley-Davidson had introduced the T variant late last year with the addition of ride-by-wire, a redesigned subframe and bar-end mirrors. Ride-by-wire also gave the X440 T traction control and two ride modes.
As mentioned earlier, this marks the second price hike in two months, with the T now costing Rs 2.86 lakh and the S Rs 2.60 lakh. The base Vivid variant’s price, however, remains unchanged at Rs 2.35 lakh. Do note that at the time of publication, Harley-Davidson’s Indian website does not reflect this price increase but that of the Hero does. Hero looks after Harley-Davidson’s Indian sales and service operations.
