I'm upgrading from a Honda Hornet CB160 and am considering the Harley-Davidson X440 T or the Honda H'ness CB350. My riding is mostly in the city, but I can stretch my budget if the bike is worth the extra money.

Since your usage is mostly in the city, the added performance that the Harley-Davidson X440T brings over the Honda CB350 H'ness is unlikely to make a big enough difference to justify the big price difference between the two. Additionally, the Honda bike will also return much better fuel economy owing to its smaller, more efficient engine. Both are on a similar level when it comes to comfort, so the CB350 H'ness is the more logical buy between the two.

Take a test ride of both to see which one you're leaning towards more before you make a decision.

@dhruv.7 Go for CB350 H'ness because ur preference city ride. Better fuel average than x440T. Moreover X440T is for long ride.

@dhruv.7 Go for CB350 H'ness because you are already aware of honda service and upgrading to premium experience. And its a true honda motorcycle not x-over.

@dhruv.7 Go for CB350 H'ness because refined engine and it is reliable you don't need rsa. Well there is few upgrades to do like extra light if you do night travel time. First take a ride you will love the smooth gearing and lot of goodies

I am planning to purchase my first bike for daily commute to office in city traffic. I was planning to wait for Triumph Bonneville 350, are Triumph 350 bikes worth the wait or should I go for any other?

We already have a Royal Enfield Classic 350 at home, and I want to buy something different. My daily commute is around 50km, travelling between home and the office. I don't enjoy long-distance touring, and my budget is around 3 lakh. I'm confused between the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, Harley-Davidson X440 Vivid, and the Triumph Speed 400.

Since you already have a RE Classic 350 at home, we'd recommend you remove the Meteor 350 and Harley-Davidson X440 from your shortlist because these bikes will feel quite similar to your Classic. The 350cc Triumph Speed 400 and Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will offer a more engaging riding experience with more performance and features on tap, and are the ones we'd advise you to choose between. Of the two, the Triumph bike has the more mellow nature, but it will still feel like a good step up from your Classic in terms of performance and handling. The Guerrilla, on the other hand, is quite excitable and of the two, this is definitely the more fun machine. Its suspension is a little taut, which enables it to have very engaging handling, but over bad roads, you will feel a little more of the road surface coming through to your back. The RE also has a crisper, more tech-laden TFT display, whereas the Triumph uses a simple digi-analogue unit.Take a test ride of both before you make your decision, since they are quite different to ride.
