Ather Energy has inaugurated ‘Ather Space’, the company’s experience center at Wallace Garden Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai. This is the company’s second experience centre, with the first one being in Bengaluru.
The EV company says that the experience centre is “designed to educate customers about electric vehicles while providing a holistic experience in an interactive space. Chennaites can now ride the Ather 450 and get an in-depth view of the product and features before pre-ordering the vehicle. Customers can also book test ride slots on the website prior to visiting the experience center.”
What community is saying on the 450?
Despite being Rs 8,000 more expensive in Chennai than in Bengaluru, Ather received more pre-orders than it anticipated and the 450 is sold out till the end of the year. As of now, Ather has set up ten fast-charging points in Chennai where it will provide free charging until December 2019 for electric four-wheelers and two-wheelers. The company is also looking to add 40-50 more charging points to their network.
