After teasing the updated Trident 660 on social media last week, Triumph has now officially revealed its prices, which range between Rs 8.49 lakh and Rs 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

  1. Triumph Trident 660 now gets a lot more tech
  2. 660cc, 3-cyl motor makes same 81hp and 64Nm as before
  3. Price has risen by Rs 37,000

2025 Triumph Trident 660: now more feature-rich

Sport mode, bidirectional quickshifter and Bluetooth connectivity now standard

For 2025, Triumph has bundled quite a bit of optional tech as standard onto the Trident 660. The Trident now comes with an additional Sport riding mode, which first debuted on the Daytona 660, joining the Road and Rain modes. The bidirectional quickshifter and the Bluetooth connectivity, both of which were previously pricey optional extras, are now standard as well.

One new feature that is now part of the Trident’s riding aids arsenal is cruise control. Like other more attainable Triumph models, the system on the Trident is controlled by a single button, and you can’t increase or decrease the speed once it’s set without disengaging cruise control. Still, this is a nice feature to have and will help owners who take their Tridents on longer journeys.

In addition to all those electronic changes, there is one fundamental chassis change. The front fork on the Trident 660 has moved to the Showa Big Piston sort, which, in theory, should offer more feedback and control to the rider. This is still a non-adjustable unit, and the only kind of suspension adjustment is in the form of preload at the rear.

The rest of the bike remains the same as it was before. The liquid-cooled, 660cc, 3-cylinder motor making 81hp and 64Nm of torque continues, and with the 14-litre tank brimmed, the bike weighs 190kg. Seat height is a very manageable 805mm, and the grippy Michelin Road 5 tyres continue in the same sizes as well.

Triumph Trident 660 price and colours

Triumph has also given it three new colours: yellow, blue and red, in addition to retaining the all-black colourway. Most of the bodywork is black, with only part of the tank being finished in the vibrant colours. The base black colour is priced at Rs 8.49 lakh, while the three dual-tone shades cost Rs 15,000 more.

This is a price increase of Rs 37,000 over the outgoing model. The Triumph Trident 660 doesn’t have any direct rivals, but bikes like the Kawasaki Z650RS (Rs 7.20 lakh) and Honda CB650R E-Clutch (Rs 9.60 lakh) pose tertiary threats to it.
