Clutchless transmission has finally introduced Direct Drive technology to the ICE. Hope Reno follows it through by introducing mild hybrid Direct Drive CVT technology. A 5KGM torque ISG handling the stalling speeds before leaving it to the ICE-CVT. Also interesting is Reno's Rafale with its split axle hybrid 4/4 technology. I'm hoping that this technology would trickle down to the point where our Triber/Kiger can be completely free of the multi speed gearbox. An electrified rear axle, say about 70hp driving the car upto 70KM/h before leaving it to a 70hp, 3 cylinder ICE powering the front axle. By sticking to a series hybrid architecture, battery size can be minimised to 2kwh.
