2025 Yezdi Roadster vs vs rivals: price and specifications compared

The updated 2025 Yezdi Roadster steps in with a refreshed engine and subtle tweaks, taking aim at the Triumph’s Speed T4, and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. On paper, all three offer very different takes on the same formula. Here’s how they stack up.

Yezdi Roadster vs rivals: engine and output

The Speed T4 packs the highest performance in this comparison.

The Speed T4 still leads the trio in displacement and torque, though the gap to the Yezdi isn’t as wide in terms of power. That said, its 36Nm figure promises strong pull from low to mid revs, making it flexible in both urban and highway settings. The Yezdi’s Alpha 2 motor remains a close contender in terms of power but falls short on torque. The Hunter 350 continues to prioritise relaxed, easy-going performance over raw numbers with the lowest power and torque figures. It is worth noting that while other companies provide kerb weight, Classic Legends only states dry-weight (without fuel and oil) on its website and the power-to-weight ratio has been calculated using the dry-weight figure.

Yezdi's Roadster is the heaviest in this comparison

The Yezdi’s longer 1440mm wheelbase and heavier weight will require more effort in tight traffic. Ground clearance is another factor and the Yezdi’s higher figure should be more forgiving over tall speed breakers. Meanwhile, the Speed T4 is the lightest here, but also has one of the highest seat heights. The Hunter 350’s low seat height and shorter wheelbase make it the most compact and manageable.

Triumph's Speed T4 is the only one with a monoshock at the rear

The Roadster's large 18-inch front wheel and 150-section rear tyre give it the biggest footprint here. The Hunter 350 and Speed T4’s 17-inch wheels front and rear make it the quicker steering bikes in this test. In terms of braking, Royal Enfield’s Hunter 350 is available with both dual and single channel ABS depending which variant you pick. Meanwhile the other two get dual-channel ABS as standard.

Price Range
Rs 2.10 lakh – Rs 2.26 lakhRs 1.99 lakhRs 1.50 lakh – Rs 1.82 lakh

The Hunter 350 has the most affordable base variant in this comparison

The Hunter 350 is the most affordable of the lot by a clear margin, offering a stylish and easy-to-ride package for riders on a tighter budget. The Triumph’s aggressive pricing makes it an incredible value proposition given its performance, brand appeal, and equipment list. The Yezdi sits in the middle and will need to bank on its updated engine and styling tweaks to draw buyers in.
