Best model of Audi! The performance is excellent and the overall look is very nice. The premium sound system is great. Worth purchasing this model; the style and design offer pure driving bliss. My experience with the new Audi Q7 was exceptionally wonderful. Just one word: wow!
The Audi Q7 is a versatile and luxurious SUV, blending performance, comfort, and advanced technology. From the moment you enter, the cabin impresses with premium materials, providing ample space for the family while maintaining the sophisticated feel expected from Audi.
Fuel efficiency could definitely be improved. The maintenance costs are on the higher side too. Ground clearance is decent for highways and city roads, but it's not enough for rural areas in India.
I switched from a Mercedes E-Class and was initially considering the BMW X5, but once I saw the Q7, I fell in love. This car is amazing, going from 0 to 100 in 5.6 seconds, performance is a solid 10/10. I prefer driving, so I can't comment on the backseat comfort, but from the driver's seat, there's no back pain or issues. I drove it from Delhi to Mukteshwar, and it was fantastic on the highway, best purchase I've made.
I've been driving Audis for a while, and the new Q7 is no different; it's actually surpassed my expectations. The comfort, size, and performance are truly impressive. It glides effortlessly on the road and keeps the Audi charm alive. A good buy, but it does have its downsides: it's not very fuel efficient and maintenance costs are high.

Questions you may find useful
I’m looking for a family car for five people with a comfortable rear seat, strong driving character, and good resale value. My budget is around ₹90 lakh. I’m torn between the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Audi Q7. Please help me decide.
If your requirement is to carry five people, then the answer is definitely an SUV. While the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has one of the best back seats for the money, this Mercedes-Benz car is designed to be best for two people and not three. The Audi Q7 is a good option, which also gives you the flexibility of a third row of seats. It's got a smooth and refined V6 petrol engine, comfortable air suspension, and though it is a bit old now, the latest update introduced about a year ago means this Audi car has the most modern creature comforts. Bear in mind, however, that it is likely to go a little over your budget of Rs 90 lakh, but if you can manage the stretch, it is definitely the better choice.
Among the Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, and Land Rover Velar, which is the better choice overall?
Though they fall in a similar price range, these SUVs offer very different propositions. The Range Rover Velar is primarily focused on style. It has sleek looks, a low roof and a minimalist interior with high-quality materials. However, this Land Rover car is not as practical or spacious as the others. The cabin is smaller, and it only gets five seats. It is also the only one of the three to offer a diesel engine. Overall, it feels better from the driver’s seat than the rear seat. The Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90 are larger SUVs with 5+2 seating. The third row is best for kids, but it still adds some extra practicality. This Audi car uses a 340hp, 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine, which offers more effortless power. The XC90 uses a 250hp, 2.0-litre 4-cyl mild-hybrid petrol engine, which is more fuel-efficient. The Volvo also offers more features than the Audi. All three are excellent SUVs, so the best choice depends on your specific needs and preferences.
Is it worth considering buying an Audi in India at the moment over rivals like Mercedes-Benz or BMW? Could you please explain whether there are any risks associated with purchasing an Audi currently?
From a pure product perspective, Audi cars like the A4, Q3 and the Q7 remain genuinely strong. Cabin quality is excellent, refinement is top-notch, quattro-equipped models are hugely capable, and the overall ownership experience can be perfectly satisfying. Where Mercedes and BMW currently have the edge is brand momentum, product freshness and showroom pull. Mercedes-Benz car has the broadest luxury portfolio, while BMW arguably has the more engaging cars to drive in several segments. Audi, by comparison, has felt quieter in recent years, with fewer headline launches and slightly less buzz.Audi India remains committed, and service support for existing owners is not a concern in the way people sometimes fear.
I am using an Endeavour 2.2 (2019) and now want to add a luxury car under ₹1 crore. Which is the best option?
At under Rs 1 crore, the best luxury car you can buy is the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. With its long wheelbase, compliant suspension tuning and comfortable, reclining rear seats, it offers one of the best back-seat experiences on the market. And that aside, it's very well equipped and has a strong selection of petrol and diesel engines as well.If you'd prefer an SUV, the Range Rover Velar is also a good option, being stylish inside and out, with a cool, minimalist interior. If you want more space, the Audi Q7 offers three rows of seats and excellent value for money.
I want to buy a new car for a family of five, but occasionally we need seating for seven. I need a luxurious and spacious car. What would you suggest?
