As can be seen from the table above, prices of the Medium Range (MR) variants of the Nexon EV have gone down in the range of Rs 20,000-35,000, depending on the variant. Meanwhile, the Long Range (LR) variants see a more significant drop in price of up to Rs 1.20 lakh, although the top-spec trim only sees a reduction of Rs 20,000.

For reference, the Nexon EV’s direct rival, the Mahindra XUV400 EV is priced between Rs 15.49 lakh-16.74 lakh for its Short Range variant, while the Long Range variant is priced at 17.49 lakh. The XUV400 EV recently received a major interior update, and with top-end prices undercutting the Nexon EV by a fair margin, it does come across as good value.
