Skoda Superb L&K diesel now cheaper by Rs 3.5 lakh

Skoda is offering special discounted prices on select models in its line-up for the month of November, in a bid to push sales. The special pricing is being offered on all variants of the diesel Rapid midsize sedan – except on the Onyx edition, and on select variants of the Superb and Kodiaq. The Octavia and Kodiaq Scout are not being offered with discounted prices.

Starting with the Superb, Skoda has carried forward the previous special pricing for the entry level petrol and diesel Style trims. The petrol is priced at Rs 25.99 lakh – down by Rs 1.80 lakh over the standard price – while the diesel is priced at Rs 28.49 lakh, as against Rs 30.29 lakh. However, the big news here for this month is that the fully-loaded Superb L&K diesel is being offered at a price of Rs 29.99 lakh – about Rs 3.5 lakh down from the standard price. The petrol L&K trim isn’t being offered with reduced prices.

Moving to the Rapid, Skoda has cut prices for all diesel variants – manual and DSG – of the midsized sedan by up to Rs 1.6 lakh. Interestingly, while the reduced pricing is not in effect for the Onyx edition, the Rapid Monte Carlo is available at a discounted price. It also makes the Rapid Onyx edition the most expensive diesel-manual and diesel-automatic variant on sale this month.

For November, the entry-level Kodiaq is being offered at a discounted price of Rs 32.99 lakh – down by Rs 2.37 lakh. The Kodiaq L&K and Kodiaq Scout continue to be priced at Rs 36.78 lakh and Rs 33.99 lakh, respectively.
