Mahindra Scorpio Z4

The Mahindra Scorpio N, which has been on sale since 2022, has received some updates in the form of feature rationalisation. Along with an increase in prices for all variants, information from dealer sources suggests that the lower- and mid-spec Z4 and Z6 variants have had some features removed or replaced.

  1. Scorpio N Z4, Z6 no longer get cooled glove box
  2. Z6 trim now gets smaller 4.2-inch monochrome MID
  3. Z4 and Z6 prices up by about Rs 34,000 and Rs 31,000, respectively

Mahindra dealers have been notified that as part of the usual IMCR (Integrated Material Cost Reduction), the Scorpio N Z4 and Z6 variants no longer get the cooled glove box; this feature is now only available with the higher-spec Z8 and top-spec Z8L trims. In addition, the Z6 variant no longer gets the 7-inch colour TFT screen for the driver as it's been replaced with the 4.2-inch monochrome MID that’s also on offer in the lower Z4 trim. The Adrenox Connect feature and the built-in Alexa compatibility have also been removed from the infotainment system.

Despite the removal of features, the Scorpio Z4 (Rs 15.24 lakh-18.51 lakh) now costs up to Rs 34,000 more. This variant is available with both petrol and diesel engine options along with their respective manual and automatic options, and a 4WD system for the diesel powertrain. Meanwhile, the Z6 trim (Rs 16.61 lakh-18.30 lakh) is now costs up to Rs 31,000 more, and continues to be offered in diesel-manual and automatic form only. There doesn’t seem to be any other change to the Scorpio N, and it remains unchanged mechanically and otherwise.
