BMW Group has announced plans to launch 23 products during the remainder of 2026. Of these, 8 are scheduled to go on sale in the second quarter (April to June), while the remaining launches will take place across the following two quarters. These introductions will be spread across BMW Group brands, including BMW (luxury cars), BMW Motorrad (motorcycles), and Mini (small cars).

As mentioned earlier, eight new products will be introduced in the second quarter, with the remaining launches scheduled across the following two quarters. BMW Group has also confirmed that these 23 products will include six all-new nameplates for India. Among them are the BMW F 450 GS set to launch on April 23, the BMW i5 LWB expected later this quarter, and the BMW iX3 planned for introduction later this year. Other models likely to be part of this rollout include the Mini Aceman EV and a non-JCW version of the Mini Countryman.
In addition, BMW Group has indicated that four products from its existing portfolio will receive comprehensive updates, one of which is expected to be the BMW iX. A total of 17 products are slated to receive either facelifts or model-year updates as part of the broader launch plan.

BMW has edged past Mercedes-Benz in Q1 car sales
BMW also reported its best-ever first-quarter car sales performance in India, retailing 4,567 units between January and March 2026, marking a 17 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase. This performance has positioned BMW as the best-selling luxury carmaker in India, overtaking Mercedes-Benz, so far in 2026.

With a 70 percent market share in the luxury EV segment, BMW also claimed the position of the highest-selling luxury electric carmaker in India for Q1 2026, recording cumulative sales of 1,185 electric vehicles across BMW and Mini models, an 83 percent YoY increase. The BMW iX1 LWB is the best-selling luxury EV in India in Q1 2026.
The company further reported strong demand for its long wheelbase models, with 2,256 units sold (up 23 percent YoY), while SUV sales reached 2,996 units (up 38 percent YoY) during the same period. Meanwhile, Mini recorded sales of 213 cars in Q1 2026, reflecting a 42 percent YoY increase. BMW Motorrad delivered 1,216 motorcycles in India during the first quarter of 2026.
