Audi has revealed the Q4 e-tron facelift globally in SUV and Sportback versions, which get a slightly revised exterior and interior design, a triple-screen setup inside, and an improved claimed range. On sale internationally since 2021, the Q4 e-tron is the entry point to Audi’s all-electric lineup globally, until the Audi A2 e-tron debuts later in 2026.

The steering features new physical buttons, but AC controls have moved to the screen
The interior is where a lot has changed on the Audi Q4 e-tron. The facelift has rendered it with a triple-screen setup, including an 11.9-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and an optional 12-inch passenger display, the largest for any Audi offering globally. Like the pre-facelift model, an augmented reality (AR) based head-up display (HUD) is also offered as an optional accessory.
The physical AC controls of the pre-facelift model have been removed, and such functions can now be accessed via the touchscreen. It gets the same modern-looking 4-spoke steering wheel, but offers roller controls on both sides along with some touch-enabled buttons. The centre console has now been extended and integrated with the front centre armrest. The boot space has reduced by 5 litres to 515 litres, which can be expanded to up to 1,487 litres by folding down the rear bench.
Gets new LED DRL signatures and second-generation connected OLED taillights
The Audi Q4 e-tron continues with a bold yet understated look as before. It features new LED DRLs with customisable patterns and Matrix LED headlights. The grille is painted in the same hue as the rest of the body, and comes with some silver-coloured trims and a gloss black surround for added contrast. The bumper features functional air intakes for improved aerodynamics.
The alloy wheel sizes are expected to range between 19 and 21 inches, like the previous model, and Audi says that the Q4 e-tron facelift gets 5 new rim designs. The profile features a lot of aggressive creases, a silver beltline and a chrome windowline. The rear design, other than the roofline, is the same for both the SUV and Sportline versions, featuring second-generation connected OLED taillights, a black strip on the bumper with two reflectors and a contrasting skid plate.
Gets a new rear motor, which Audi claims is 10 percent more efficient than before
The battery options, including the 59kWh and 77kWh units, have remained the same as before. The DC charging speed, however, has been increased from 175kW to 185kW, which can recharge the Sportback model from 10-80 percent in just 27 minutes. The German carmaker also claims a 185km range in a 10-minute charge.
The updated Audi Q4 e-tron gets a new “APP350” electric motor mounted on the rear axle, which “incorporates a number of efficiency-enhancing measures and thus ensures increased range and more torque” in both RWD and AWD versions, enhancing the overall efficiency by around 10 percent. The SUV’s RWD variants produce up to 286hp and 545 Nm and have a claimed range of up to 592km. The AWD variants produce up to 340hp, with the front motor producing 134Nm, and the rear motor producing up to 545Nm. It has a maximum claimed range of 554km.
The Audi Q4 e-tron has been launched in Germany, with prices starting from 47,500 euros (around Rs 52.55 lakh) for the SUV and 49,450 euros (around Rs 54.70 lakh) for the Sportback version. While Audi is yet to comment on the Q4 e-tron’s India launch, it could be a good entry point to the carmaker’s all-electric lineup, since Audi currently does not sell any EV in India.
