Mahindra has brought out its new Scorpio with prices starting at Rs 9.97 lakh for the base-spec S3 trim and going up to Rs 16.01 lakh for the top-spec 4WD S11 variant (ex-showroom, Delhi). The major talking point on the refreshed SUV is uprated 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, only available on the higher variants, which now makes 140hp and 320Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a new six-speed manual gearbox.
