Kia Carnival: special gratification benefits explained

The entry-level Premium trim of the Kia Carnival currently retails for a price of Rs 24.95 lakh, ex-showroom. The gratification benefit includes a cash discount of Rs 2.50 lakh, while the remaining Rs 1.25 lakh is covered by other costs such as extended warranty packages, annual maintenance costs, etc.

Customers can also opt to avail the entire Rs 3.75 lakh benefit in cash discount, which naturally eliminates the additional benefits. Meanwhile, the Prestige and Limousine trims of the Carnival are available with Rs 2.50 lakh cash discount, but do not get the additional gratification benefits.

With these benefits, the entry-level Premium 7-seater AT variant of the Carnival is now more affordable than the mid-spec VX manual trim of the Toyota Innova Crysta

Kia says eligible customers will need to ensure that their Carnival has not clocked over 1,500km from the date of purchase and is free from “damages, failures and pending claims”. Additionally, Kia will require all the documents of the concerned vehicle which should be in the name of the person returning the vehicle. Owners who have financed their vehicles will require to submit an NOC from the financer.
