The Toyota Fortuner facelift has been launched in India, with prices starting from Rs 29.98 lakh. The Ford Endeavour rival is available in four engine-gearbox combinations with two trim levels to choose from. Here’s what you get with each variant.

The Fortuner is powered by the same 2.8-litre diesel engine that did duty on the outgoing car. However, power has been bumped up to 204hp from the outgoing model’s 177hp. While torque remains the same with the 6-speed manual – 420Nm- with the torque-converter auto, the Fortuner diesel now puts out 500Nm. The diesel also gets the option of two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Toyota has also retained the 2.7-litre petrol engine that puts out 166hp and 245Nm. The Fortuner petrol can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The Toyota Fortuner facelift is available in 8 exterior colour options - Super White, Pearl White, Grey Metallic, Silver Metallic, Attitude Black, Phantom Brown, Avant-Garde Bronze and Sparkling Black. The Fortuner Legender meanwhile, can also be had in a dual-tone pearl white and matte black paint scheme.
