Royal Enfield Classic 350 expert review
9.0
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 stays true to its retro roots with timeless styling, simple instrumentation and strong road presence. It feels substantial from the saddle and delivers the distinctive “king of the road” experience that has always been a part of the Classic’s appeal. Build quality and finish levels are impressive, with good attention to detail throughout. The motorcycle feels well put together and continues to offer the charm and character that have made it one of Royal Enfield’s most popular models.
9.0
Comfort is one of the Classic 350’s biggest strengths. The upright riding position, relaxed ergonomics and spacious layout make it an easy motorcycle to spend long hours on. Whether riding through city traffic or covering highway miles, the Classic offers a calm and unhurried experience.
7.0
The Classic 350 is powered by a smooth and characterful 349cc single-cylinder engine that focuses on easy-going performance rather than outright speed. The motor delivers strong low-end torque and pulls effortlessly at low rpm, making city riding relaxed and stress-free. It also remains smooth while cruising at highway speeds, with only a slight pulse through the touch points.
One drawback is the relatively heavy clutch, which can become tiring in stop-and-go traffic. The clutch and brake levers could also benefit from adjustability.
9.0
The Classic 350 is designed for relaxed riding and offers a stable, confidence-inspiring feel on the road. It handles highway journeys comfortably and remains composed in varying conditions, including heavy rain and poor road surfaces. The Ceat tyres perform well, offering reassuring grip in wet conditions. One concern noted during our use was faster-than-expected brake pad wear, with both sets requiring replacement after around 5,000km.
7.0
The Classic 350 keeps things simple and focuses on essential features. It gets dual-channel ABS, a fuel gauge and a display that includes a clock. Royal Enfield also offers accessories such as a windscreen and deluxe footpegs.
9.0
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is not about chasing performance figures. Instead, it delivers a relaxed, charming and deeply enjoyable riding experience. Its smooth engine, comfortable ergonomics, solid build quality and timeless character make it a motorcycle that encourages you to keep riding. For riders looking for an easy-going and rewarding motorcycle, the Classic 350 remains one of the most appealing options in its segment.
