New Raider 125 variant gets disc brake at rear, ABS, boost mode, and more

The sporty commuter segment is getting really competitive, and the Raider 125’s new variant boasts a bunch of new features. What mainly distinguishes it from the other variants is the use of disc brakes at both ends and single-channel ABS. Additionally, the motorcycle now comes with a new tyre configuration: 90/90-17 at the front and 110/80-17 at the rear.

Just like the Jupiter, the Raider now gets a boost mode, which should provide a torque boost when necessary to make quicker overtakes. The bike also features GTT (Glide Through Technology) for seamless low-speed manoeuvrability and enhanced fuel efficiency. And finally, a new red colour scheme is available with this variant.

The new variant will be available either with a TFT or an LCD screen. The version with the LCD screen will be called the SXC DD and priced at Rs 93,800; the TFT DD costs Rs 95,600.
