Bajaj launched the updated Dominar 400 early last year at an introductory price of Rs 1.74 lakh. A few months later, a Rs 6,000 price hike took it up to Rs 1.80 lakh. Ever since then the motorcycle has been witnessing periodic price increases and it now costs Rs 1.96 lakh.

The latest price hike of Rs 1,500 may not seem significant, but the Dominar 400’s price is now nearing the Rs 2 lakh mark. It costs around Rs 12,000 more than the Husqvarna twins and just Rs 13,000 less than the KTM 250 Duke. However, it still undercuts the Mahindra Mojo 300 that has a starting price of Rs 2 lakh.

The updated Bajaj Dominar 400 has proven to be a big improvement over the previous model, with a fair amount of additional kit and performance upgrades. Bajaj also worked on reducing the vibrations, which was an issue in the previous Dominar, and we noted a significant drop while testing the motorcycle.

All prices, ex-showroom Delhi.
