Mahindra has just launched the BS6-compliant Mojo 300 at a starting price of just under Rs 2 lakh, which is Rs 11,000 more than the BS4 model. Prices go up to Rs 2.11 lakh, depending on the four colour options (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).

Mahindra first introduced the Mojo 300 ABS in 2019, after the Mojo XT 300 and UT 300 were discontinued, and apart from the updated engine, not much has changed with the transition to BS6.

Powering the Mojo 300 is the same 294.72cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled single. Mahindra has not revealed its peak output figures yet, but we expect a slight drop from the 26.29hp at 7,500rpm and 28Nm at 5,500rpm that the BS4-spec engine produced. While the Mojo continues to sport a single exhaust muffler, it now has an additional catalytic converter to meet the stricter emission requirements.

From the looks of it, components like the telescopic fork and monoshock have been carried forward from the BS4 Mojo 300. The 320mm front disc and 240mm rear disc brakes are the same as well, and the bike continues to be equipped with a dual-channel ABS.

The BS6 Mojo 300 is available in four colour schemes – Red Agate, Black Pearl, Ruby Red and Pearl Black. The company has begun accepting bookings for Rs 5,000 and deliveries should commence very soon.
