Bajaj’s groundbreaking CNG motorcycle will now launch on July 17, not June 18 as revealed earlier. This change comes straight from the horse’s mouth with Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto confirming the new launch date.

  1. Will switch between petrol and CNG seamlessly
  2. Performance in the ‘100-150cc commuter bike’ ballpark
  3. Can change between petrol-CNG seamlessly

Bajaj CNG bike India launch date

The Bajaj CNG bike is meant to cater to a ‘cost-conscious’ buyer according to Sharma and won’t skimp on the design front either. He also elaborated that while the bike will be in the entry-level segment, there will be a ‘pride of ownership’ that goes along with it.

The CNG bike will also come in multiple variants and won’t be restricted to just one model, confirmed Sharma. While no power figures were shared, he did state that the performance one can expect is in the ‘100-150cc ballpark’. He also revealed that this bike can switch seamlessly from petrol to CNG, without a rider feeling the change in the fuel powering the motor.

The Bajaj CNG bike has been spotted testing multiple times previously and to see the most recent spy images, tap here.
