VE has adopted a similar approach to Skoda, which offers the Kodiaq Lounge trim as a less expensive, 5-seater alternative to its 7-seater versions.

The front bumper has a much cleaner look with L-shaped slats on the grille.

In profile, it's easy to notice a different design for the alloy wheels, which measure relatively an inch less at 18 inches.

At the rear, tweaks are limited to a simpler design for the bumper.

Volkswagen has launched the Tayron Life trim in India at Rs 41.99 lakh, making it Rs 5 lakh more affordable than the top-spec R-Line. Compared to the Tayron R-Line, the Life misses out on the sporty styling. However, both variants are powered by Volkswagen's 2.0-litre EA888 TSI petrol engine that produces 204hp and 320Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, with power sent to all four wheels.
