Maserati India has launched the GT2 Stradale at Rs 5.72 crore (ex-showroom). The GT2 Stradale is a more track-focused counterpart to the MCPura and is a road-going version of the track-only GT2. Being a track-oriented model, it features several mechanical and cosmetic upgrades over the MCPura. Additionally, it's limited to 914 units globally, with the number paying homage to Maserati's founding year in 1914. It gets the same 3.0-litre 'Nettuno' twin-turbo V6 petrol engine as the MCPura, but delivers more power at 640hp and 720Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed DCT. Maserati claims a 0-100kph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 324kph. Additionally, a body kit inspired by the GT2 car helps itweigh 60kg less than the MCPura. The body kit includes revised bumpers and air intakes, which improve cooling, and an adjustable spoiler, which provides more downforce than the MCPura.
