The e Vitara gets a generous dose of dark cladding around the base of the vehicle, imparting a rugged look.

The e Vitara has a 2,700mm wheelbase, which is identical to a MG Windsor.

Top-spec versions of the e Vitara will get 18-inch wheels with an aero-optimised design.

The rear lights are connected by a transparent bar, but the central portion isn’t illuminated.

Overall, the e Vitara looks muscular with prominent angles and protrusions at the front and rear.

Prices will be announced in early 2026; bookings to open soon.

Ahead of its price announcement in early 2026, Maruti Suzuki has revealed some new details of the e Vitara electric SUV. It will be offered in three trims – Delta, Zeta and Alpha – with two battery pack options: 49kWh and 61kWh. The latter will return an ARAI-claimed range of up to 543km.
More importantly, Maruti Suzuki has made efforts to build a robust charging network before it officially launches its first electric SUV in the country. The company has setup around 2000 charging points in around 1,100 cities, with one charger every 5-10km in metro cities. The e Vitara will also be sold via Maruti’s subscription service and with a BaaS (Battery as a service) scheme. Bookings for the Maruti e Vitara will commence soon.
