The Honda 0 α electric SUV looks like a scaled down version of flagship 0 Series SUV.

The face gets an illuminated Honda logo framed by LED DRLs on the top and sides.

It has a quasi-MPV look with its squared-off rear end.

The body work is clean and minimalistic, likely in the interest of aerodynamic efficiency.

The protruding bumper flows into thick body cladding along the sides.

It rides on large, 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels with an aero-optimized design.

The rear is the most striking angle with thick C-pillars and full-width, U-shaped tail lights.

The upright design is intended to maximise interior space.

The Honda 0 α electric SUV concept previews the entry-level model in Honda’s new 0 Series of EVs. The big news is that this will be brought to India to be positioned against the likes of the Maruti e Vitara and Mahindra XEV electric SUVs. It will be locally manufactured, not only for sale in the domestic market, but even for exports. Technical details are sparse at the moment, but it is expected to be powered by a battery ranging between 65kWh-75kWh, with a single-motor front-wheel drive configuration. And while it may still look like a concept, it is a close-to-production prototype, and most design details seen here will make it to the production model. An India launch is expected by 2027.
