The Xoom 125 is Hero's sporty 125cc scooter offering and was launched at the Auto Expo 2025. Available in 2 variants - VX and ZX - and a total of four colour options, prices for the Xoom 125 range between Rs 87,316 and 93,316 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Xoom is powered by the same engine as its family-centric sibling - the Destini 125 - but here the 124cc, single-cylinder motor makes a slightly higher 9.9hp and 10.4Nm of torque.

The Xoom 125 is also the first scooter from an Indian brand in this class to run on 14-inch wheels at both ends. Its sharp and sporty styling is similiar to its smaller 110cc sibling but still retains its unique identiy. The Xoom 125's principal rival in this class is the hugely popular TVS Ntorq.

Poll of the month

What do you think about the push for ethanol blends even higher than E20 petrol?

Good move; it cuts dependence on crude oil imports
I support it as it’s a greener solution than pure petrol
I’ll accept it only if it’s cheaper than E20 petrol
I am concerned about damage to my vehicle
Not good; fuel efficiency will drop even further
