
The BYD Denza Z Convertible was unveiled at the 2026 Beijing Motor Show.

Up front, the 2+2-seater gets a angular LED headlights and a sporty bumper.

Other design highlights include flowing lines, large alloys, quad-lens tail-lamps, and a large rear diffuser.

Wild 1,014hp tri-motor setup enables a claimed 0-100kph time of under 2 seconds.

It also gets BYD's Blade 2 battery tech with a range of around 600km and a DC charging time of 5 minutes.

Interior features 15.6-inch touchscreen, driver's display, sporty steering wheel with lots of buttons, etc.

The Denza Z Convertible will launch in China at around 400,000-500,000 yuan (Rs 55 lakh-70 lakh).

At the 2026 Beijing Motor Show, Chinese EV maker BYD pulled the covers off the Denza Z Convertible. Styled by former Audi and Alfa Romeo design chief Wolfgang Egger, the Denza Z Convertible is a 2+2-seater with a soft-top mechanism, outputting a ludicrous 1,014hp from its triple-motor powertrain. Moreover, it's built on an 800V platform and gets BYD's Blade 2 battery tech, which allows for a range of around 600km and a 10-70 percent DC charging time of 5 minutes.
