The design is similar its hatchback sibling, including the circular LED headlights.
The octagonal grille gets a blanked-off trim with 'S' badging on the upper side.
The Cooper convertible comes with xx-inch wheels with a dual-tone finish.
The rear gets oblong-shaped LED taillamps and a dual-tone finish for the bumper.
The interior comes in a dual-tone theme with sustainable materials used for the dashboard.
The convertible gets the same interior as its hardtop version.
The roof opens or closes within 18 seconds through electrical adjustment.

Mini has opened bookings for the Cooper Convertible. The Cooper convertible is based on its hatchback counterpart, but comes with an electrically operated roof. The electrically operated roof can open or close at speeds up to 30kph. While the Cooper convertible looks a lot like its hatchback sibling, it gets a slightly different look at the rear with oblong-shaped LED taillights instead of the triangular ones found on its hatchback counterpart. The Cooper convertible is sold in India in the 'Cooper S' guise and gets a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 204hp and 300Nm. The convertible does the 0-100kph sprint in 6.9 seconds. Moreover, the chassis gets additional structural bracing that slightly adds more weight for better safety and rigidity.
