Yes, the MG Cyberster is strictly a 2-seater. It has quintessential roadster proportions and a 2-door body style, featuring a soft-top convertible roof that opens or closes in just 10 seconds. The Cyberster also boasts electric scissor doors, adding some drama to the ingress and egress, as well as active aerodynamics.

MG claims the Cyberster has a top speed of 200kph and can sprint from 0 to 100kph in just 3.2 seconds; it even gets a launch mode. The Cyberster is powered by dual electric motors – one on each axle – which put out a combined 510hp and 725Nm through all four wheels. The Cyberster is a rear-biased sports car with a 38:62 split in power between front and rear.

How much range does the MG Cyberster have?

The Cyberster is equipped with a 77kWh battery pack and has an ARAI-certified range of 580km. As for charging, MG claims a 144kW DC charger can top up the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes.

The Cyberster is a pretty well-equipped car. It has as many as four screens – a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display flanked by two 7-inch screens on either side and a 7-inch screen on the centre console for climate control operations.

It also gets electrically adjustable seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four drive modes (Comfort, Custom, Sport and Super Sport), adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a 360-degree parking camera, a cabin air filter and a Bose sound system. Safety features include six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre-pressure monitoring system and Level 2 ADAS.
